AGM Meeting: The annual AGM meeting at the beginning of November 2010 was very well attended and Jim Allen was elected as the new Chairman. A hearty vote of thanks for sterling work being given to the retiring Chairman, magician, children's entertainer, broadcaster and novelist; Tony Butler. Professional Storyteller David Brailsford stepped down as Group Secretary and poet Ann Cooper was voted into his place. Radio Nottingham broadcaster Gordon Butler reigned as Treasurer and novelist Angela Rigley agreed to take up the reigns of this demanding post. Nostalgia writer Helen Sharpe was elected as Vice Chairperson.
New Committee members were appointed and re-appointed as follows: Helen Sharp, Michael Hemstock, John White, Cherry Chance.
